Seeking a solution to a problem
#1
Ok so I am trying to solve this equation: 4=(4/(x+5))^(-x-3). I already know the answer because I solved it graphically via a calculator. I am curious if there is a method to solve this. I am unfortunately not the most mathematically-literate as others as I'm only in HS, but if anyone can try to give as simple an explanation as possible for how to solve this, if possible, I'd greatly appreciate it.
