I managed to obtain a direct formula as sum:

But it still doesnt remind me of something useful.
Why does this simple sequence tend to \( 1/\ln(b) \)???
i assume you mean 'b' instead of 'c' in your formula.
considering all that is written about hypergeometric series , this must be provable if true.
